These Booking Terms apply to bookings, tickets, reservations, purchases, and use of the Okanagan Recreation Center website and services.

General

By booking with Okanagan Recreation Center ("ORC"), purchasing a pass, or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate contact, booking, and payment information. ORC may rely on the information submitted to process your booking and communicate with you.

Pricing and Taxes

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes are added where required. Prices, availability, and activity details may change without notice until a booking is completed.

Payment

Payment may be processed online through third-party providers such as Stripe or PayPal. A booking or ticket is not final until payment has been successfully completed and confirmation has been issued.

Bookings and Day Passes

A booking or day pass grants access only for the date, activity, time period, or reservation purchased. Confirmation emails, ticket references, or QR codes may be required for support or access verification.

Visitor Responsibilities

Visitors are responsible for:

• Following posted rules and staff instructions
• Using the property safely and respectfully
• Supervising minors in their care
• Bringing suitable equipment, clothing, and supplies for outdoor conditions
• Using only the areas and activities included in their booking or pass

Safety and Closures

ORC may suspend, limit, reschedule, or cancel access due to weather, wildfire risk, maintenance, unsafe site conditions, staffing, special events, or other operational requirements. ORC may also refuse or remove access where necessary for safety, rule enforcement, or property protection.

Group and Special Bookings

Cadet use, camps, private events, large groups, and special-use arrangements may be subject to separate written terms, custom pricing, deposits, or insurance requirements. Where separate written terms apply, those terms govern.

Third-Party Services

Parts of our website and booking flow may rely on third-party systems such as payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, or mapping services. Their systems and terms may also apply to your use of those features.

We try to keep website information accurate and current, but activities, features, schedules, and pricing may change.

Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ORC is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from website interruptions, payment processor outages, weather closures, access restrictions, or information supplied by third parties.
