Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to day passes, bookings, reservations, and other purchases made through Okanagan Recreation Center ("ORC").

Day Passes

Unless otherwise stated at checkout or in your confirmation, day passes are generally non-refundable once purchased. If ORC closes the relevant activity area for safety, weather, wildfire risk, or operational reasons, ORC may offer a reschedule, credit, or refund at its discretion.

Day Camps and Reserved Bookings

Day camps, camp-area reservations, and scheduled bookings may be subject to different cancellation terms depending on the activity, timing, staffing, season, and booking type. Any specific terms shown during checkout, in a written quote, or in a confirmation email apply first.

Group, Private, and Custom Bookings

Deposits, private bookings, special group use, and custom-priced reservations may be non-refundable or partially refundable depending on preparation costs, blocked dates, staffing commitments, and notice period. These bookings may also be governed by a separate written agreement.

Weather and Safety Closures

ORC is an outdoor site. Weather, smoke, wildfire conditions, mud, heat, storms, and other site conditions can affect access. If ORC determines that an area must close for safety or site protection, ORC may reschedule, issue credit, or refund affected bookings as appropriate.

No-Shows and Late Arrivals

No-shows, missed time slots, or unused portions of a booking are generally not refundable unless ORC agrees otherwise in writing.
